Tracking another round of rain by Monday afternoon

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy and chilly with lows in the mid-50s.

TOMORROW: Mostly cloudy with rain moving back in from the southwest to northeast throughout the day. Highs in the mid-60s.

EXTENDED: Rain is slowing down for much of the area and we'll continue to be damp but mainly dry into the overnight hours before the next round of rain arrives by around midday for areas south of I-70 tomorrow. Light showers push northeast throughout the afternoon, keeping temperatures in the low to mid-60s. We could have a few spotty showers linger into Tuesday, but clouds will keep us in the upper 60s for one more day. We'll begin to see more sun on Wednesday, pushing us back to the lower 70s. A weak front will bring the potential for some showers on Thursday, but after that it's smooth sailing into the end of the week and next weekend as high pressure builds across the region. Highs soar into the upper 70s Friday and into the low 80s by the weekend.
