Mizzou football's 2026 recruiting class now has two members.

On Friday afternoon, four-star safety and linebacker Keenan Harris became head coach Eli Drinkwitz's second commitment to the 2026 class, joining quarterback Gavin Sidwar. The St. Louis native chose MU over Oklahoma, Iowa, Nebraska, Oregon and a slew of other big offers.

The 6-foot-1, 210-pound prospect is ranked as one of the top-five players in the state by both 247Sports and Rivals. As of now, he plays both safety and wide receiver for the St. Louis University High (SLUH) Billikens, but is expected to join the Tiger roster as a linebacker, under position coach Derek Nicholson.

Harris shined during his junior season at SLUH. He ended the 2024 campaign with 108 total tackles, 26 tackles for loss, two sacks, three interceptions and a couple of fumble recoveries. Those numbers lifted him to First-Team All-Metro and All-State selections.

He is joining the 2026 recruiting class, following a pair of decommitments in mid-May. Over the course of two days, Coach Drink lost pledges from four-star defensive lineman Anthony Kennedy Jr. and three-star safety D'Montae Tims. Harris is the first commitment that Drinkwitz has gotten, since then.
