Tracking scattered evening storms with a rainy holiday weekend

TONIGHT: Overnight lows cool to the mid-50s with scattered showers and storms possible. Moderate downpours and lightning will be the main threats.

TOMORROW: Saturday welcomes morning showers and thunderstorms with areas along and south of I-70 seeing the majority of the rain. By the afternoon hours, a little dry-time is in store as highs climb into the mid-60s. Saturday nigh welcomes more chances of evening/ overnight scattered storms with southwestern portions of the region towards Camden and Benton counties seeing a few isolated storms producing small hail.

EXTENDED: Monday welcomes widespread showers that exit into Tuesday morning. Highs into Memorial Day Monday reach into the lower 60s. Rain chances increase once again by Thursday as highs warm into the mid-70s.
