COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou Women's Basketball has inked its fifth official addition to its 2025-26 roster.

Rutgers transfer Lisa Thompson signed with head coach Kellie Harper and her staff on Friday afternoon, following two seasons with the Scarlet Knights.

The 5-foot-9 guard saw significant playing time in both her freshman and sophomore campaigns, appearing in 58 games and making the starting lineup in 33 of those contests. Thompson has averaged 6.1 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game in her collegiate career.

The former McDonald's All-American nominee helped lead Rutgers to the Great Eight of the Women's National Invitation Tournament (WNIT) last season, scoring an average of 4.9 points per game and finishing with the fourth-most steals on the team (22).

With Thompson's signing, MU officially has 11 players on next season's roster. Mizzou has signed six players out of the transfer portal, including Jayla Smith, Sydney Mains, Shannon Dowell, Jordana Reisma and Saniah Tyler, and the Tigers have five returners: Grace Slaughter, Abbey Schreacke, Averi Kroenke, Hannah Linthacum and Ma'Riya Vincent.

Coach Harper also received a signature from Smith on Friday evening.
