Mark Smith and Jeremiah Tilmon return in Mizzou road win

NASHVILLE - The Mizzou basketball team earned its first road win since beating Temple in early December with a, 61-52, win over the Vanderbilt Commodores.

The victory improves Mizzou's record to 14-14 (6-9 SEC).

Mark Smith and Jeremiah Tilmon both returned from injury. Smith played 13 minutes off the bench and scored five points. Meanwhile, Tilmon played nine minutes off the bench and had two points and two rebounds.

Xavier Pinson continued to lead the way and scored 17 points along with five rebounds for the Tigers. Reed Nikko had 14 points and five rebounds.

Mizzou next faces Mississippi State at home on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
