Sunshine continues Saturday, Rain by Sunday

THIS AFTERNOON: Mostly sunny skies will continue across mid-Missouri. Temperatures will be in the upper 30s and low 40s. You'll need the coat for any Friday evening plans.

TONIGHT: It will be seasonably cold overnight with temperatures in the mid-to-upper 20s. Skies will remain clear. Winds will remain light out of the south.

EXTENDED: Saturday is another sunny day across mid-Missouri. Stronger, southwesterly winds will allow a healthy warming trend across mid-Missouri. Many of us will be in the mid 50s with a few spots in the upper 50s. Sunday will feature an increase in clouds and rainfall across the region. Rain will become steady in the afternoon leading to a soggy evening. Rain will continue Monday. There's still uncertainty about what happens beyond this storm system-- Snow is possible, but confidence on amounts is low.
