Tracking a wintry mix Saturday with cooler temperatures next week

TONIGHT: A light scattered wintry mix remains possible with no accumulations expected and zero to very minor travel impacts. Overnight lows cool to the lower 30s with winds out of the southeast at 8-12 mph.

TOMORROW: Rain remains possible throughout the first half of the day before switching over to a mix into the later afternoon/ evening hours. Eventually cooling temperatures convert the wintry mix over to snow into the overnight hours. Some areas along Highway 54 from Jefferson City and to the northeast could see possibly up to 1". Highs top out into the lower 40s.

EXTENDED: Sunday welcomes cooler temperatures with mostly cloudy skies. Highs top out into the lower 20s. Monday could see some very light, isolated snow with no travel impacts expected. Tuesday welcomes more impactful snow showers with accumulations and moderate travel impacts expected. Highs remain into the lower double digits the rest of the week with lows at or below zero degrees.
