WEB EXTRA: Full one-on-one interview with Mizzou men’s basketball coach Dennis Gates

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

ABC 17's Kyle Helms caught up with the head coach of Mizzou Men's Basketball Dennis Gates ahead of Wednesday's edition of Tiger Talk, following the team's upset win at No. 5 Florida.

Coach Gates' group has now defeated two top-five opponents in a single season for the first time since 2008-09 and has cemented its best start to SEC play (3-1) in program history.

Tiger Talk is a weekly radio show hosted by Mike Kelly, the Voice of the Mizzou Tigers. Kelly, who's joined on the program by Coach Gates, assistant coaches and special guests, breaks down recent games and looks ahead to upcoming matchups. For the first time this athletics year, ABC 17 brought the show to television.

There are five remaining shows, lasting from Jan. 22 to Feb. 26. On four of those five dates, Kelly will also spotlight Mizzou Women's Basketball, along with head coach Robin Pingeton.
