QUESTION OF THE DAY: Is ending fact-checking on Facebook the right move?
Big changes are coming to Facebook.
Meta owner Mark Zuckerberg said Tuesday that Facebook will no longer use fact-checking. Instead, Facebook will take a cue from X and use the "community notes" model that allows users to append notes to correct content.
The move has been praised by right-wing figures who say Facebook is biased against conservatives. However, many of the left have panned it, saying it will allow for the further spread of misinformation.
