Tracking a mild weekend and another system near Thanksgiving
TODAY: Saturday is partly cloudy, with a south wind that pushes high temperatures back into the 50s.
TONIGHT: Skies remain partly to mostly cloudy overnight, with winds from the south.
EXTENDED: Sunday starts mild, with temperatures in the 40s. By the afternoon, highs reach into the 60s areawide. Skies are partly cloudy to start the day, but become mostly cloudy by sunset. This is ahead of our next cold front, which arrives Monday morning. This will generate a few sprinkles early Monday, but leave without much in the way of measurable rainfall. Tuesday is likely dry, with increasing clouds. These clouds will precede rain chances that try to work in on Wednesday. Timing and placement of rain continues to be elusive, so we'll continue with low chances, but Wednesday could be wet for your pre-Thanksgiving travel plans. If this moisture lingers into Thanksgiving, we could see precipitation chances there as well. Either way, high temperatures are forecast in the 40s Monday through Thursday, and may drop into the 30s by the weekend.
