Tracking a foggy Friday morning
TODAY: Friday starts foggy. A Dense Fog advisory is in place through nearly all of the region through 9 a.m. Mostly sunny skies result after fog clears, which help us get to just near 60 for highs. Winds increase from the south by the afternoon, sustained around 5-10 mph.
TONIGHT: Temperatures are chilly again overnight, as they fall into the 30s through early Saturday. Skies remain clear at first, but some low clouds may fill in from the east, as high clouds work in from the southwest by sunrise.
EXTENDED: Saturday will still see plenty of sunshine through the partly cloudy sky, with winds from the south bumping temperatures a few degrees further into the 60s. Most of Sunday looks dry, with a few spotty showers preceding more widespread rain that arrives Monday morning. Rain will linger much of Monday, with both days seeing highs in the 60s. This rain exits, with a large push of cold air quick on it's heels. It currently looks like the cold will not be fast enough to provide us any meaningful chance of wintry weather through the middle of next week. Temperatures will take a hit, though, falling into the 40 for highs by Wednesday.
