Man killed in Camden County crash

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 64-year-old St. Charles man was killed during a crash in Camden County just after 3:15 p.m. Sunday.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the man was driving a 2018 Ford F250 east on US 54 near Route A when the truck went off the right side of the road.

The truck hit two guardrails before going down a steep embankment, then hit two highway signs and multiple trees.

The man was taken to Lake Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead just before 4:15 p.m.

The report states the man was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
