Tracking a mild week with a chance at showers midweek

TODAY: Monday is a sunny start to the week, with warmer than average temperatures expected, in the midi-60s. We'll have northerly winds sustained between 5-10 mph.

TONIGHT: Skies remain clear overnight, temperatures fall into the mid-to-low 30s, meaning some may need to scrape frost off the windshield early Tuesday.

EXTENDED: Tuesday will likely only return to the 50s given the cooler start. A few extra clouds are forecast as well, but we'll stay dry until Wednesday. Through midday, a cold front will pass from west to east, bringing a chance for showers and weak thunderstorms across the region. All have a good chance at rain, but it won't be much. Most will see somewhere between a trace and one tenth of an inch. We do not expect any severe impacts. Dry and quiet weather returns through the start of the weekend, with temperatures near 60 to mid-60s by the weekend.
