Tracking exiting election day showers

TODAY: Showers linger across much of the region Tuesday morning, but will slowly clear the region to the east by mid-afternoon. Temperatures will only climb a degree or two this morning before a wind shift drops temperatures into the 50s this evening. Some may cool all day.

TONIGHT: Winds will be variable this evening, likely shifting back from the south overnight. Skies remain cloudy.

EXTENDED: We'll have some clouds cluttering the skies, and a light south breeze making for a high i the 60s on Wednesday. Little change is expected Thursday and Friday with variable winds, as highs are still expected in the upper 50s and low 60s. No rain is forecast again until Friday afternoon, ahead of another area of low pressure. Rain chances will peak Friday night and Saturday morning, ahead of a drier day Sunday. No severe weather is forecast. Temperatures remain steadily in the 60s for highs over the weekend. Another inch of rain could come for some this weekend.
