COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Three women are accused of stealing mail in Miller County, according to a press release from the Miller County Sheriff’s Office and court documents.

Tammy Michelle Schnieders, 48, of Eldon, is charged in one case with forgery and stealing mail, and two counts of stealing mail in another case. She is being held at the Miller County on a $25,000 bond in one case and a $10,000 in the second case.

Deborah Sue Holloway, 52, of Eldon, is charged with forgery and stealing mail. She is being held at the Miller County Jail on a $25,000 bond. Rose Marie Cooper, 57, of Kaiser, is charged with two counts of stealing mail and is being held at the Miller County Jail on a $10,000 bond.

During Schnieders’ arrest on Friday, a man was also arrested, court documents say. Richard Schnieders Jr., 51, was charged with drug possession and misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held on a $25,000 bond at the Miller County Jail.

All four people appeared for an arraignment on Monday and have a case review scheduled for 9 a.m. Friday at the Miller County Courthouse.

According to one of the probable cause statements, a victim told law enforcement on Friday that property tax statements were stolen from a mailbox and that their roommate saw “an older lady with no teeth” driving a blue Dodge pickup truck with a black tailgate.

Another victim also stated they were alerted a package was delivered to their house, but it was stolen, the statement says. That person also claimed they saw tax statements on the ground near another residence, the statement says.

Deputies made a traffic stop on Tammy Schnieders’ vehicle, which included her and Cooper, the statement. Both women allegedly admitted to stealing.

In a second probable cause statement, a victim claimed that mail containing a check was stolen from their mailbox and that the amount of money taken from their account was different from what they wrote, and went to a different party. The signature allegedly matched Tammy Schnieders’ signature from a previous bond, the statement says. She allegedly admitted to taking and altering the check, as did Holloway, the statement says.
