Shell casings seen in northern Columbia neighborhood

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Several law enforcement officers were seen in a northern Columbia neighborhood on Wednesday night.

An ABC 17 News reporter saw five shell casings on the ground and eight Columbia police officers near Interstate Drive and East Brown School Road.

Police confirmed that there was an investigation for shots being fired at the intersection of Edenton Boulevard and Raleigh Drive.

A crime scene van arrived on the scene at 11:02 p.m.

Scenes at both locations were cleared by 11:18 p.m.
