Jefferson City man found guilty of several felonies in August 2022 Columbia shooting

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Jefferson City man was found guilty by a jury early Thursday in an August 2022 shooting in Columbia.

Jonathan Mosley, 41, was found guilty of first-degree property damage, armed criminal action, first-degree stalking, shooting at a vehicle/home and two misdemeanors: Fourth-degree domestic assault and fourth-degree assault.

Mosley is being held at the Boone County Jail and he will be sentenced at 8:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 20.

He is accused of firing 10 shots at a woman’s house and vehicle on Aug. 22, 2022, after sending threatening text messages and phone calls, court documents in previous reporting say. Police found bullet holes in the woman’s vehicle and home, previous reporting indicates.
