Mizzou announces exhibition game with Lincoln University
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
The first opportunity to catch a glimpse of this year's Mizzou men's basketball team is less than two weeks away. MU revealed it will host Lincoln University from Jefferson City in an exhibition game on Saturday, Oct. 26.
Following Saturday's preseason action, fans are invited to stay at Mizzou Arena for a college football watch party to catch No. 19 MU's battle at No. 7 Alabama. The exhibition game will tip off two hours before that game's official kickoff time, which will be announced on Saturday, Oct. 19. Admission to both the exhibition and watch party are free to the public.
The Tigers will feature 11 new faces on this year's team, including both a top-15 freshman and transfer class in the nation. Head coach Dennis Gates will work to lead his team to a bounce back season in his third year at the helm of the program, following an 8-24 record in 2023-24.
The 2024-25 campaign officially tips off at Memphis on Monday, Nov. 4.
