Tracking a mostly dry weekend dodging rain

THIS AFTERNOON: Light rain is possible in southeast Missouri but most will just get non-measurable sprinkles. Everyone sees clouds though which keeps temperatures mild in the lower 70s.

TONIGHT: Clouds keep temperatures mild overnight with lows holding in the lower 60s.

EXTENDED: Rain showers will be few and far between this weekend but some spots could briefly be wet for outdoor plans. Temperatures remain nice and nearly seasonal in the 70s all weekend with partly cloudy skies. Winds will be noticeably breezy with gusts up to 25 mph at times as the remnants of Helene head out. Next week looks fairly quiet with no good signals for rainfall for early October.
