Tracking chances of showers Friday with near average temperatures this weekend

TONIGHT: Skies see an increase in cloud cover overnight eventually becoming overcast late. Lows cool to near the 60 degree mark. An isolated shower or two remains possible in far southeastern portions of the region closer to I-44.

TOMORROW: Friday sees scattered showers pulling in from the remnants of Helene and a low pressure system to our southeast. The bulk of the rainfall resides towards Rolla and southeast but a few scattered showers could pull a tad further northwest.

EXTENDED: This weekend looks drier with highs into the mid-70s. We remain in partly cloudy skies during the weekend before sunshine returns throughout next week. Monday looks to be the warmest day back towards 80 degrees before a dry cold front passes through Tuesday looking to cool us down.
