Law enforcement search for two suspects in Callaway County

CALLAWAY COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Callaway County deputies, K-9 units and the Missouri State Highway Patrol are searching for two suspects after a chase that started in Montgomery County Thursday night.

Deputies are searching for a man and a woman who fled on foot after crashing their car into a Montgomery County deputy. According to a social media post from the Callaway County Sheriff's Office, the search is focused in the area of State Road Z west of the State Road A/Z overpass.

Residents in the area are urged to lock their vehicles and report any suspicious activity immediately.
