WARSAW, Poland (AP) — Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is urging diplomatic efforts to end the war in Ukraine during a visit to Poland, saying that no conflict can be solved on a battlefield. Modi held talks Thursday in Warsaw with Polish counterpart Donald Tusk, and will head to Kyiv later in the week. Tusk said that India can play a role in ending the war on Ukraine by Russia, which is India’s strategic partner. Both leaders said that the visit opened doors to cooperation in the IT sector, security and defense industry. On Friday, Modi travels to Kyiv to meet President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
