RECALL ROUNDUP: Missouri cannabis products and electric ranges recalled
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Missouri cannabis products
The Missouri Division of Cannabis Regulation has recalled over 2,000 marijuana products sold to dispensaries in Missouri.
The products were recalled by DCR because they were not tested in the final phase of testing before being sold to patients and consumers. However, DCR says the recalled products were tested at the unprocessed bud/flower stage and come from a facility with license number NGWMO, LLC, CUL000069.
The recalled products were sold in flower and ground flower in hundreds of different varieties. There have been no reports of adverse reactions to the products, the DCR says.
Those who have purchased the recalled marijuana should stop using it and should throw it away or return it to the dispensary where it was purchased.
Samsung Slide-In Electric Ranges
The Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled over a million Slide-In Electric Ranges made by Samsung.
Regulators say the front knobs on the range can be turned on by accident by people or animals, which poses a fire hazard.
So far, there have been over 300 reports of that happening.
The recalled product was sold at Best Buy, Costco, Home Depot, Lowe's and other stores nationwide and online from May 2013 to August this year.
CPSC says owners can contact Samsung to get a free set of knob locks and covers for their range.
Owners with ranges that have WiFi can also turn on "cook-top" notifications on the Samsun SmartThings app and it will alert you when your cook-top burner is on.
