Two in custody after vehicle pursuit in Montgomery County

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Two men were taken into custody Sunday afternoon in Montgomery County, according to a social media post from the Montgomery County Sheriffs Office.

Around 11:30 a.m. the sheriffs office posted on its Facebook page that law enforcement was looking for two suspects in the area around Stella and White Road. The post states the two men ran into a nearby cornfield after a vehicle pursuit that ended in a crash.

Around 3 p.m. the department stated both suspects were taken into custody.

The sheriffs office had warned people in the area to lock the doors to their homes and vehicles and to report any suspicious activity as they searched for the suspects.
