Callaway County Sheriff’s Office set to host large-scale training exercise Thursday and Friday

FULTON, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Callaway County Sheriff's Office will be hosting a large-scale training exercise in Fulton Thursday and Friday morning.

This training will be held at the Missouri School for the Deaf and is supposed to prepare all agencies on responses to shootings and mass casualty situations. According to the Sheriff's office social media page, they are utilizing the school environment so officers can use real life scenarios so they can be better prepared.

Every law enforcement, fire department and Callaway County EMS has been invited to this training.

The Callaway County Sheriff's Office is looking for role players for the training. If anyone is interested they are asked to email Major Curtis Hall at chall@callawayso.org.

The training begins at 8 a.m. on Thursday and Friday.

Trainings are also being held Aug. 6 and 7 at 6 p.m.
