Two suspects in deadly Fulton shooting set to appear in court Friday

FULTON, Mo. (KMIZ)

Two suspects in deadly Fulton shooting are making their second appearance in court Friday at the Callaway County Justice Center.

Emmanuel Brown, 20 and Quiara Walton, 19, of Fulton will be in court for the second time in seven day for their alleged involvement if the shooting death of Jakiem Braggs, 19, earlier this month.

Walton is charged with first-degree murder while Brown are charged with accessory first-degree murder.

Two others are also in custody, including Mitchell Henderson Jr. who turned himself in this week on charges of first degree murder.

A juvenile was also taken into custody.

Investigators say Braggs was shot and killed on the 1200 block of Kathy Street in what police called a possible "ambush."

Court documents say Walton "lured" Braggs to the street after they were fighting on Snapchat. Logan, Brown and a minor were all allegedly waiting behind a car to shoot Braggs when he got to the scene.

They claimed they shot him in the head three times when Braggs' gun jammed. Documents say Brown told an investigator that he was expecting "retaliation on both side" due the shooting.

In Friday's hearing, the judge will decide whether or not a bond amount can be placed for Walton and Brown.
