RECALL ROUNDUP: Chocolate chip muffins, salmon and Miniverse Make It Mini Sets recalled

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Bakeshop Chocolate Chip Muffins

Bakeshop Chocolate Chip Muffins sold at Aldi have been recalled.

The Food and Drug Administration says the muffins contain undeclared walnuts. Those allergic to walnuts are at risk of an allergic reaction that could lead to life-threatening injuries.

The affected muffins were sold in a plastic container in a pack of four at Aldi stores nationwide.

The FDA says those who bought the muffins should return them to Aldi for a refund or throw them away.

Foppon Seafood Salmon Cuts

The Food and Drug Administration has also recalled salmon made by Foppen Seafood.

The recall is for the company's smoked Norwegian salmon slices due to possible listeria contamination.

The affected slices are the 8.1 oz "toast-sized" cuts sold at Kroger-owned grocery stores such as Gerbes and the contamination specifically affects lots 4-12.

The FDA says if you have the recalled salmon you should throw it away or return it for a refund.

MGA Entertainment Miniverse Make it Mini Sets with unused liquid resin

The Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled about 21 million Miniverse Make It Mini Sets with unused liquid resin.

The sets are made by MGA Entertainment and regulators say the product violates the federal hazardous substance act because the toys have liquid resin in the set that can cause skin, eye and respiratory irritation when its inhaled, touched and eaten by kids or adults.

CPSC says the recalled sets were sold at Walmart, Target, Aldi, Dollar General, Family Dollar and other stores nationwide and online from October 2022 through June of this year.

Customers are urged to stop using the sets with unused resin and contact the company for a prepaid label to return it.
