Missouri State Highway Patrol

CAMEDEN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

An armed woman barricaded herself inside an abandoned vehicle Saturday in a wooded area in Climax Springs, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Sgt. Kyle Green with MSHP said Camden County deputies attempted to serve a felony warrant on the woman.

The mother of the woman's boyfriend reported the woman was on her property and armed with a sawed-off shotgun that she would point at herself, Green said.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol's Troop F assisted the Camden County Sheriff's Department in the incident.

According to Green, the woman was taken into custody without incident.
