Colorado woman hurt in Camden County crash

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Colorado woman was rushed to a hospital Wednesday morning after crashing her Jeep Cherokee on Highway 5.

Autumn Steele, 38, of Loveland, Colorado, suffered serious injuries when her Jeep went off the left side of the road, hit a ditch and a retaining wall and went airborne before overturning, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

The crash happened at about 7 a.m. near Standing Rock Road in Camden County.

Steele, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the vehicle, the patrol says. An ambulance took her to Lake Regional Hospital with serious injuries.
