Former Boone County man indicted on federal child porn charges

A former Boone County resident was indicted by a federal grand jury on three charges related to child pornography, according to a press release from the Department of Justice.

Emrah Eymez, 38, who currently resides in Lafayette, Indiana, was charged with attempted production of child pornography, receiving child pornography and transferring obscene material to a child younger than 16 years old.

The indictment alleges that Eymez used a child younger than 12 years old to produce child pornography from March 11-April 2.

The release states the the mother of the 9-year-old victim contacted law enforcement to report the cell phone communication between Eymez and her daughter. The mother reported approximately 1,851 text messages, the affidavit says, including the exchange of nude images and a video, the release says.
