Five killed in a private plane crash in eastern Burkina Faso

OUAGADOUGOU, Burkina Faso (AP) — Authorities in Burkina Faso say five people were killed and two injured when a private plane crashed into a tree following its failure to take off from an airport in the country’s eastern region. The government news agency says the plane was was taking off from a local airport in the city of Diapaga en route to the city of Fada N’Gourma when it “ended up in a tree.”  The country’s Transportation Ministry says the two injured people were rushed to a health facility, and that authorities have begun an investigation into the crash
