Tracking fog and gray skies for Thursday
TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy with patchy fog developing. Lows in the upper 20s. Watch for isolated slushy spots in the morning.
THURSDAY: Fog through late morning, then mostly cloudy. Highs in the upper 30s.
EXTENDED: Stubborn clouds hold on through Friday, but southwest upper flow begins to take hold, pushing the jet stream north into the weekend. This will bring a significant warm up to the area, as temperatures rise into the upper 40s by Saturday and upper 50s to around 60 by Sunday. Clouds roll back in on Monday ahead of our next system, but temperatures still rise into the mid-50s for highs. Our next storm system will move in on Tuesday with ample energy and moisture arriving from the southwest. The severity and precipitation type associated with this system can't quite be determined as we're several days out, but stay with ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather as the situation develops.
