Man dies in single-vehicle crash in Morgan County

MORGAN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Stover man died Tuesday in a crash in Morgan County on Ivy Bend Road, south of Missouri 135, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

Ricky Erichsen was pronounced dead at the scene by a paramedic, according to the report. He was 68.

According to the crash report, Erichsen was heading northbound on Ivy Bend Road when his 1990 Chevrolet Corvette skid, went off the left side of the road and hit a stump. He was brought to Kidwell Garber Funeral Home, according to the report.

The Corvette was totaled.
