Two juveniles detained after crashing stolen car in Columbia

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Police detained two juveniles after a Tuesday crash involving a stolen vehicle brought out at least nine Columbia Police Department cruisers and the Bearcat armored vehicle.

CPD Assistant Chief Mark Fitzgerald said two juveniles crashed a stolen vehicle and ran to a house down the street but were found and detained. The crash occurred in the area of Brookline and Falmouth drives in south Columbia late Tuesday morning.

Officers also combed through the house looking for evidence.

Other details were not immediately available at the scene.
