Missouri joins Kansas, Iowa and Nebraska to fund flood mitigation study

The Show-Me State teamed up with some of its neighbors to fund a study that could help with flood mitigation in the future.
The announcement on Monday made clear that Missouri along with Iowa, Kansas and Nebraska will work with the Amry Corps of Engineers to see how much water flows down the Missouri River.
It comes after floods in 2019 devastated large parts of the Midwest and Mid-Missouri.
The states and the Amry Corps are paying are each paying $400,00 to fund the research project.
