Police: No injuries reported after shots were fired in north Columbia

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Police say there were no injuries reported Wednesday night after shots were fired near Blue Ridge and Oakland Gravel roads.

Columbia Police Sgt. Derek Moore told ABC 17 News that police responded to a shots-fired call at 9:55 p.m. A man allegedly told police that people were firing at him.

Police found shell casings in the area, but injuries were reported.

A police spokesperson later told ABC 17 News in an email that property damage was caused at two residences.
