Tracking a very dry and mild pattern for the foreseeable future
TODAY: Mostly sunny skies partnered with a south breeze will result in highs slightly above normal, in the high 40s and near 50 this afternoon.
TONIGHT: While afternoon temperatures are expected slightly above normal, temperatures tonight are typical for the season, with upper 20s expected by Tuesday morning.
EXTENDED: A weak and dry cold front arrives early Tuesday which will bring partly cloudy skies and keep temperatures in the mid-40s Tuesday afternoon. On Wednesday, easterly winds at the surface will keep temperatures in the mid-40s, while southwest winds aloft will blow in enough clouds from a system in that direction, to keep us mostly cloudy. We will not see rain. In fact, rain chances hold off the rest of the week, with slightly above average temperatures expected. We will have plenty of sunshine, and temperatures in the 50s from Thursday through Sunday. Rain chances likely do not improve next week, either, as dry air infiltrates behind a weak wave over the weekend.
