Tracking light rain moving in tomorrow, cooler weekend ahead
TONIGHT: Increasing clouds and mild with lows in the upper 40s. Winds dying down to about 10-15 mph.
TOMORROW: Mostly cloudy with rain moving in by late afternoon. Highs in the upper 50s to around 60.
EXTENDED: Tonight, winds die down a bit but clouds increase ahead of a low pressure system that will push a cold front into the area tomorrow. We'll remain in the upper 40s to around 50 by morning, but stay near or just under 60 degrees for the afternoon before rain moves in along the front. Showers will be light and a bit more widespread by evening, with rain quickly exiting east by Saturday morning. There could be a few rumbles of thunder, but any severe threat generally stays just to our south on Friday. Clouds wrap around low pressure on Saturday, and delayed colder air pushes in by Saturday night, dropping us into the upper 20s by Sunday morning. Sunday is chilly with more sunshine and highs near 40 degrees. Next week is looking quiet to start off with a fairly typical early winter pattern of highs in the upper 40s and lows around 30. Rain chances are looking minimal as we're not seeing too many disruptions in the jet stream.
