Dolphins coach McDaniel tries to downplay Chiefs clash in Germany. LT Terron Armstead could return

FRANKFURT, Germany (AP) — Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel is trying to downplay the significance of Sunday’s heavily anticipated matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs in Germany. He suggests that beating the Chiefs at Deutsche Bank Park would merely amount to a “cool regular season win,” even though there are potential AFC playoff implications in a clash of two 6-2 teams. He asked, “Does seven wins get you into the playoffs? Probably not.” Left tackle Terron Armstead could return from a knee injury sustained in Week 4 against the Buffalo Bills. McDaniel said he’s “optimistic” about activating Armstead off injured reserve.
