Tracking a warm up into the weekend

TODAY: Thursday is our first day out of the 40s since this recent cold snap. Temperatures are forecast to reach the upper 50s and possibly even low 60s for some under mostly sunny skies. The air is dry and the winds are breezy from the southwest in the 10-20 mph range. This will allow for a quick warm up, but also erratic fire behavior. Burning is not recommended today.

TONIGHT: Temperatures will fall into the 30s again overnight, but not as cool as Thursday morning. Clouds will build in overnight.

EXTENDED: Friday brings partly cloudy skies and even warmer temperatures with highs reaching into the mid-to-upper 60s. Saturday is just as warm with a few more clouds ahead of a cold front that sweeps in late Saturday night. This will bring a low-to-moderate chance for showers into early Sunday morning. This will be short lived and most of Sunday is dry. With winds quickly returning to a southerly direction, we will again be in the 60s, if not 70s for highs. Another front will pass on Monday, but lack much in the way of moisture so rain chances are very low. However, after reaching upper 60s on Monday, it does appear that a slight cool down comes with this one as we fall into the low 60s/50s on Tuesday where we keep a slim chance for rain as the front stalls just south of the region. Wednesday looks similarly cool, with highs forecast in the upper 50s.
