Tracking the Arrival of More Snow
THURSDAY: What has turned into mostly snow overnight will turn back into a cold rain shortly after sunrise. This should help alleviate any problems on area roadways, but only temporarily. Highs will reach the mid to upper 30s.
TONIGHT: That cold rain flips back to wet snow overnight. This is where we believe we could see the greatest impacts with accumulations—tonight into tomorrow.
EXTENDED: The morning commute will be slick. We could be looking at anywhere from 2-5 inches of snow by the morning. The snow will stick around into the day on Friday, but no additional accumulations are expected. For the latest on what impacts to expect, check out the Insider Blog. We settle down and actually start the warming trend as we kick off the weekend. Saturday will only top out in the upper 30s as we catch our breath. But Sunday we'll be in the mid to upper 40s, where we'll stay to start next week.
