No threat found after bomb threat made to Jefferson City Nursing and Rehab Center

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)
The Jefferson City Police Department is still investigating after a report of a bomb threat at a nursing home Monday morning.

Lt. David Williams said the investigation is still open into the suspicious call made to the Jefferson City Nursing and Rehab Center. Williams said the business has procedures in place that include evacuating everyone inside.

The building was searched but nothing was found and the center returned to normal operations after several hours.

An ABC 17 News reporter said the scene was clear around 3:30 p.m.

The Jefferson City Nursing and Rehab Center declined to comment.
