Tracking a wet Wednesday before a significant cool down

Today: Afternoon highs increase into the mid-80s as skies remain mostly cloudy. Winds remain out of the south at 8-12 mph with gusts up to 20 mph possible.

Tonight: Overnight lows cool to the mid-60s with mostly cloudy skies. Winds remain out of the south at 8-12 mph.

Extended: Showers and storms move into Mid-Missouri Wednesday morning remain scattered until Thursday morning. Rainfall totals look to remain under 1/2". A significant cool down occurs Thursday as winds switch out of the northwest following the cold front passage. Highs this weekend remain into the mid to lower 60s. There is a chance for frost Saturday night into Sunday morning for northern portions of Mid-Missouri.
