Mizzou football remains undefeated, topping Memphis at the Dome
ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMIZ)
The Mizzou football team took down Memphis in a 34-27 win at the Dome at America's Center on Saturday night. With the win, the Tigers improved to 4-0 on the season, which is the program's best start since 2013.

Starting quarterback Brady Cook was questionable coming into the Zou to the Lou series game, as he hyperextended his knee in the upset against then-No. 15 Kansas State the week before. His knee didn't seem to bother him too much in his start, though. The St. Louis-native went 11-for-12 in the first half with 213 yards and one touchdown. He finished the game 18-for-25 with 341 yards and two touchdowns.
Cook came out firing with a 76-yard touchdown pass to Marquis Johnson on the first Tiger possession of the game. However, fellow St. Louis-native Luther Burden was Cook's top target in the win. He tallied a career-high 177 yards, which was his third straight game with more than 100 receiving yards.

The St. Louis kids shined, all-around, on Saturday. Running back Cody Schrader racked up 107 yards and even broke off for a 37-yard touchdown run in front of his hometown fans.

Defensively, Blake Baker's group showed up at the Dome. The Tigers had two interceptions, courtesy of Kris Abrams-Draine and Marcus Clarke. Abrams-Draine also led the team in tackles with seven, total, on the night.

Up next - Mizzou will play in its first true road game of the season. MU and Vanderbilt will do battle on Saturday, Sept. 30. Kick off is set for 3 p.m. in Nashville.
