Tracking dry air and a warmer pattern by the weekend
TONIGHT: Today's cold front teases us with a chance for a sprinkle tonight, ahead of an otherwise dry forecast. Even if we can get a shower or two to develop this evening, dry air may very well dry up any drops before they reach the ground. Expect a dry night, with skies becoming mostly clear overnight. Temperatures fall into the mid-60s by early Wednesday.
TOMORROW: Thanks to continued northeast winds, temperatures only climb into the low 80s Wednesday afternoon, despite sunny skies.
EXTENDED: Sunny skies will be the theme through the rest of the 7-day forecast. Surface high pressure builds in from the north, calming winds overnight into Thursday morning, allowing for 50s to start the day. This helps keep highs in the 70s for some on Thursday afternoon. Another morning in the 50s comes Friday, but south winds return us to 80s Friday afternoon. Then we'll steadily warm into the 90s by the end of the weekend. Warmer than normal temperatures stick around for most of next week.
