Tractor-trailer hits man walking on Interstate 70 outer road in Montgomery County

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A tractor-trailer hit a Texas man who was walking on an Interstate 70 outer road in Montgomery County on Wednesday, killing him.

Curtis Berry, 43, of Houston, was walking near Buechele Road on the south outer road of I-70 at about 9 p.m. when he was hit by a 2019 Freightliner Cascadia driven by Prabhjot Singh Sohi of Fowler, California, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol online crash report.

Berry was pronounced dead at the scene by the Montgomery County coroner and taken to Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City.
