Tracking isolated afternoon showers and storms with more chances into weekend

Today: Afternoon highs only reach into the mid-80s thanks to mostly cloudy sky conditions throughout the region. Isolated showers and storms remain possible throughout the afternoon hours mainly along and south of I-70. Brief downpours will be the main impact with these showers/ storms.

Tonight: Isolated showers/ storms remain along and south of I-70 throughout the overnight hours as overnight lows cool to the lower 70s.

Extended: Friday sees chances of scattered showers and storms throughout the day. The main impacts of these showers/ storms looks to be brief downpours and some gusty winds. Highs remain into the mid to upper 80s this weekend with chances of scattered showers on both Saturday and Sunday. Early next week looks to start out on a drier note with highs into the lower 80s.
