Tracking strong storms and heavy rain tonight
TONIGHT: An ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather Alert Day is in place for tonight, as strong storms are expected between 6 p.m. and 12 a.m. Flooding will also be possible with these storms into the early hours of Thursday, in our eastern counties.
TOMORROW: Some showers and weak storms will linger into early Thursday, but it's an overall drier day. Most of us will be dry by mid-morning, with more sunshine by the afternoon. Expect temperatures in the mid-80s near Columbia and Jefferson City, but folks near the Lake of the Ozarks may see temperatures in the 90s, especially in the west.
EXTENDED: Friday looks mostly dry, but an isolated storm or two cannot be ruled out. On Saturday, we'll see rain chances tick up again, with scattered showers and storms in the forecast. Expect highs near 90 on Saturday. Sunday through the middle of next week, rain chances continue daily, with temperatures in the 80s.
