Tracking a couple more days of intense heat before a short “cool down”

TONIGHT: I'm tracking mostly clear conditions throughout the day, with temperatures reaching the 102-103 degree range, with the heat index reaching up into the 106-108 degree range, which is why we are still in a weather alert day.

TOMORROW: I'm tracking a very slight dip in temperatures tomorrow, but still looking intense in terms of heat. We could see some scattered to widespread rain in the morning with weak thunderstorms to accompany the activity, lasting throughout the early afternoon hours. I'm tracking a high in the high 90s, with heat index values that could reach into dangerous territory. There is another slight chance of isolated storms tomorrow night, but these chances are few.

EXTENDED: Starting Sunday and Monday, we'll see temperatures take a little bit of a hit, as they'll be getting into the low 90s. But as we approach mid week, I'm tracking those temperatures reaching back up into the high 90s. We could see daily chances for isolated rain and storms, with the highest chance next week being Tuesday.
