Tracking a couple more rounds of storms before a hot work week in the Futuretrack

TONIGHT: I'm tracking chances for more isolated storm chances making their way through mid-Missouri, with the strongest chances spread throughout 4-8 PM. These storms are expected to stay sub-severe, but if they evolve, main threats will be strong winds and hail. Even at the sub-severe level, some of these storm systems could produce winds up to 50 mph and small hail stones. Once the sun sets, severe potential will drop significantly, but we will still be able to observe more isolated rain and weak storms throughout the night into Monday morning.

TOMORROW: I'm tracking another slightly more widespread storm system moving through mid-Missouri in the mid to late morning, and lasting through the early afternoon hours. For the most part, the chances for anything severe is low, but if the storm system is slow moving, we could observe severe capabilities. Temperatures will be climbing into the mid-90s, and we should see slightly drier conditions getting into the later hours of the afternoon, with one last chance of isolated rain in the evening.

EXTENDED: Tuesday holds more small chances for morning and evening rain chances, but the main trend we'll be tracking in the weather station starting Tuesday is this intense summer heat. Because of a high pressure system set up to the east of us that's staying almost stationary throughout the week, we'll be seeing temperatures in the high 90s everyday after Monday. We're expected partly cloudy skies with the exception of slight isolated storm chances Monday through Friday in the evening hours, but as of right now these chances are very limited. If mid-Missouri does observe any rain, we could see temperatures slightly decrease.
